Introduction to Business Continuity Planning for Disasters and Emergencies

This online training module is eligible for 1 CPH recertification credit.

This 45 minute module will orient learners to the basics of business continuity planning, including an introduction to the eight pieces necessary for formulating a plan.

Participants are eligible to receive up to 0.7 contact hours (0.075 CEUs) for successful completion of training including pre-test, post-test and evaluation.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be able to:

* Describe how business continuity planning can reduce vulnerability to disasters and emergencies
* Summarize the eight pieces necessary for formulating a plan
* Explain the relationship between risk and the process of prioritizing hazards
* Associate business continuity principles with real-world scenarios.
