NIOSH-Approved Spirometry Refresher
This one-day interactive program is designed as an update for those who have successfully completed an introductory NIOSH-Approved Spirometry Training Course on or after January 1, 2000, and can provide a copy of their certificate to the course director. Students with a course certificate that is dated prior to January 1, 2000, will need to complete the full initial NIOSH course again. In addition to the topics and objectives listed, an emphasis will be placed on practical aspects of spirometric testing and making sense of spirometric results. Students are encouraged to supply information on the spirometers they currently or plan to use and samples of spirograms from their work setting.
