Emerging Issues and Controversies in Occupational Health and Safety is an exciting one-day interdisciplinary symposium with sessions on controversial issues in OHS research, policy, and practice that examine the cross-section of sciences, politics, and practice. The program is designed for new and experienced occupational health and safety professionals.
Conference Objectives: After attending this conference, participants will be prepared to:
Describe current science surrounding selected emerging issues and controversies
Identify clinical management practice realities of dealing with new symdromes and situations
Discuss the policy implications that stem from epidemiological and investigative findings
Examine the cross-section of science, policy and practice imbedded in emerging issues and controversies in
occupational health and safety
